Block Party

This winter I am really focusing on lifestyle photography - capturing the real moments, the details, the memories.  To me, these types of photos mean more than the 'smile and say cheese' photos.  Today while Joey was playing with some blocks I decided to give it a go.  Although I would have liked ONE photo of his face and his eyes, it is ok because A)I don't want him to start to resent my camera and B) I didn't want to ruin the moment and turn it into something other than the quick documentary photoshoot that I started out to do.  I love these photos - THIS is how I want to remember my 22 month old.
