Earl and Isabel | 64 years married

I truly believe that ALL stages of life deserve to be photographed.  Every moment and milestone is worth documenting.  My grandparent-in-laws recently celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary and when I approached my husbands family about photographing them everyone was really supportive.  My husband's cousin came along and interviewed them about their memories and life together.  It was awesome to be there and listen to them reminisce about the past - he recalls the day he first saw her and even remembers the dress she wore!  They were so cute and still care so deeply about each other, 64 years and 15 kids later!  Whenever they sat down next to each other they were either holding hands or he had his arm around her.   I'm so happy that we did this.  Together we put together a book pairing their words with the photos - it has been such a gift to the entire family for generations to come.   Earl's words of advice for a successful marriage - "no matter what, always kiss each other goodnight".  

The resulting book, their stories in their own words paired with the photos from the session.  I love being able to flip through this and read part of their history, my kids history.
