Finger Painting Fun

When I saw that Anne from This Little Soul had a breakout session on Clickin Moms about shooting from you heart and making connections with your subject, I knew I had to take it right away.  I've been following her on Facebook and her photos are gorgeous to say the least. It seems so simple - but I played with Joey like I normally do and just popped the camera up every now and then. Never before have I gotten so many photos where he is making a connection with me and the camera instead of totally ignoring me.  By playing/laughing/singing with him while holding my camera in my lap for most of the time, I was able to get so many genuine photos of him than previous attempts where i would just hold the camera at my face and call his name over and over and over and over.  I also included a moody black and white one at the end that I JUST LOVE!
