Picking Flowers

One of the best things about this photography journey is all the wonderful people I have met and become friends with.  Melissa is one of them - and one who means so much to me.  We have become such great friends this past year - and our kids are the same age and total buddies. Melissa did an AMAZING session (you can see here) of me and my Joey during our last few days as being 'just the two of us' before his sister was born - photos that I still make me tear up when I look at them and that mean so so much to me.  We had been trying to plan a date for me to photograph her family and we were finally able to last week.  Every year Lia and her daddy pick out flowers together and plant a little flower garden; so when Melissa asked me to do a session and document this yearly tradition I was really excited.  This little greenhouse was so cute and the owners were SOOO nice.  How perfect that they had a little red wagon for pulling flowers (and kids) around.  Thanks again Melissa - for being such a good friend and for giving me such a wonderful gift with our photos last summer.  I hope you enjoy these ones!
